Christina Novelli – December Sessions @ The O2

Christina Novelli played at The December Sessions at The 02 on the Tuesday 13th 2011 alongside Broccoli’s presenters and singers Red n Pink, White Powder Gold and SPEAKS. The girls managed to pull Christina away from hair and make up and on to the British Music Experience route master bus for a quick interview about her trip to LA and her 2012 plans

Broccoli Events were brought in to programme and run four of the nights. So as well as booking our top 16 bands, working on the promotion and PR, supplying music and video for the official trailer, the radio ad which was played on XFM and Capital Radio and the December Sessions free download, managing the event, hospitality, photographing the performances, we managed to squeeze in an interview with each of the bands and film them on stage. These are the highlights…

If you want to keep informed of what we’re up to and receive exclusive invites to free events then please sign up to our mailing list on our website or follow us on Facebook. We have a really exciting event planned for March 27th which will be invite only so don’t miss out!!

Creating video content for online magazines

We’re not just about creating online content solely for Broccoli Events to use throughout our social media and websites.
At Broccoli Events we can create content relevant to your companies needs. Whether it be music events, written features on the music scene, music videos for bands, viral videos for brands and magazines, the list goes on.
We are constantly thinking in creative and dynamic ways to produce new and exciting content for ourselves, companies and brands.
Our strong music background based on seven years creating live music events has given us an opportunity to develop trusted relationships in the music industry with bands, bookers, managers and labels which means we can guarantee the highest calibre of bands no matter what the budget.

Bands for Brands.
Brands for Bands.
It’s a mutually beneficial promotional relationship.

Our latest contribution is for a new and vibrant online magazine The Ladies Toilet. Our ethos is we think it, we say it, we do it and it’s done. This video was filmed, edited and posted online in under 24 hours.

The Ladies Toilet Presents Missdavinalee

THE LADIES TOILET,

“An online trend magazine, takes the pulse of the rapidly beating London scene and reports back. Our cameras snap the pictures of the people and the places; monitoring everything from the street style of our mismatched generation to music reviews, fashionology and the occasional chronicling of current events, making this your online treasure trove for anything stylishly entertaining yet never taking ourselves too seriously”.

Roots TV now has a Youtube channel – band interviews – music videos & more

We’ve been creating content for Roots TV for a few months now filming band interviews, live performances and playing the ‘Manage, Collaborate, Kill’ game with musicians on the streets of Camden Town!

Until now the videos have appeared on the Roots TV blog but with all the great bands we have wanting to get on the show we have put together a Youtube channel so you can browse through the videos with ease.

So far we have filmed:
SULK
Jersey Budd
Dean Mumford (The Rifles)
KAV
Soldier
Howlin’ Circus
The 335
Sissy & The Blisters
Warehouse Republic

The videos are presented by Red N Pink. As well as being great presenters the girls are very talented musicians which gives them an added empathy with the bands they are interviewing.

Filming was tricky with Red N Pink fans wanting photographs!

Amy Winehouse

We are deeply saddened by the passing of the incredible talent of Amy Winehouse, although it was clear of her pain and troubles it still came as a massive shock, a girl of our time lost so young.

We went down to her house in Camden Square to pay our respects, it was a very emotional and overwhelming experience.

Later today Zalon Thompson, MarkRonson & the Zutons will do a tribute to Amy in Greenwich.
