Fractures debut Single – ‘Nicotine’

We love it at Broccoli when we watch a band take steps into become an established and successful band. Take Fractures for example. They played one of our live music events earlier this year, immediately we were attracted to their incredible song writing, we listen to a lot of bands every week and it’s not often you come across something that immediately grabs your attention as something special and unique.

Fractures are releasing their debut single on 31st October 2011 available as a free download from www.Fracturesband.com – new website by the way!

Single Review: Red N Pink // Badman – Independent Music News

New York editor Tomas Hughes of the Independent Music News wrote this review of Red N Pink ‘Badman’.

Review:

“Are u a badman?” Well, in the context of this song I would hope not. But Red N Pink (Yoda and Emma) sure as hell look like bad ass nu-wave punk girls, leaning against the ropes of a boxing ring with a big sneer beneath their, ahh, red and pink hair. It’s a fitting image for their slightly grimy electro-dubstep hip-hype sound that fits in the current moment.

But this sisterly like duo seem to be all about bitchy hooks with a touch of good humor, fun, and realism. The first line “Badman is trying to find all the Marajuana. Living in his house in his old pyjamas “ says it all. We’ve all known or met this type of “badman”, and you can’t help but pity them. They just don’t have an ounce of motivation or fight in them: weak.

Red N Pink though, they’re gonna duke it out and fight through life to the very end while having a blast doing it. The image, attitude, and influence of M.I.A. and P!nk sort of combined should put these two not only on the map of London and the UK, but over the pond as well. They’ve got just the right spunk and appeal to eventually attract the following their after.

Rate: 9/10

Red N Pink interview Joana from Joana And The Wolf – video

So here it is, Red N Pink interviewing Joana from Joana And The Wolf at Fat Faced Cat in Angel.

The girls spent the day shopping at this great little vintage shop hidden away on Camden Passage. There is lots of footage we couldn’t put in due to the restraints Youtube have in place for the length of videos so we’ll put out a behind the scenes video soon, expect discussions on human skin coats, best bags and coats to take to Siberia and more.

We’ve worked with this fantastic band for many years now. Joana And The Wolf have played our live events at venues across London as well as performing at many of the corporate events we have put on for brands such as XFM, Stolichnaya Vodka, 3mobile, Metro Ski and Snowboard Show, Indy Awards.

Music events and Joana And The Wold go hand in hand, check them out live!

Making use of disused buildings as event space.

There seems to be a vast amount of space in London that is going to ruin, space that is wasted, sitting empty that is begging to be used. As an events company these unused buildings get the creative juices flowing at the prospect of what we can do with the space.

Our latest intrigue is old swimming pools, especially the old Victorian buildings, they are truly stunning.

We’re currently creating a series of summer events for brands to use for product launches and marketing campaigns and we’re racking our brains as to how we can work in a big event with bands in an old swimming pool! It shall be done…
