The Sun are backing Buster Shuffle’s ‘Save The 100 Club’ song

It seems The Sun has got wind of Buster Shuffle’s ‘Save The 100 Club’ song and are now backing it!

It’s amazing to see one of our favourite bands in the press and mentioned in the same breath as David Bowie, Oasis and Paul Weller.

We’ve worked on lots of live events and corporate events with Buster Shuffle, Nokia Comes With Music Human Jukebox, Bollocks To Poverty Live with Action Aid and the launch of Marston’s EPA on St George’s Day.

Buster Shuffle new record deal!!

We are over the moon for good chums Buster Shuffle who have just a record deal with top label –PEOPLE LIKE YOU who are subsidiary of EMI!

We have been big supporters of Buster Shuffle from day one and had them play for us at loads of our live music events including the Nokia Jukebox and recently on top of the EPA open top bus, a bespoke event we organised for Marstons.

Well done fellas, we are very proud!!!

The Dash promo video – ‘My Darling’

This is the promo video ‘My Darling’ from The Dash.

The Dash have become one of Broccoli Events ‘go to’ bands. As well as possessing a phenomenal reputation on the UK new music scene The Dash have a diversity that enables them to adapt and work on some interesting corporate campaigns without compromising their musical integrity.

The Dash worked with us on the Nokia Comes With Music campaign which saw a pop up stage/jukebox appear at sites around London. The band had to play a selection of covers which the general public would choose from the jukebox and the band would perform. Confused? check the video…

The Scene According To The Dash – Recharged Radio

Brand new show on Recharged Radio (find it online) The Scene According To The Dash.
If ever two people were ever more suited to radio it is Marc and Gav, not saying that they’re ugly, they just have great radio personalities, naturals.

First show was on Monday and it was a truely great listen. If you go to the website the shows are available to listen to again.

Also another great band Missdavinalee will be starting their show tomorrow.

Both bands have worked with us before on the Nokia Comes With Music campaign launching Nokia’s new phone. They are incredible artists who can adapt well for a corporate event or product launch.

First laugh of the day courtesy of Stefan Abingdon – thank you!!

So i was on my way to work this morning and picked up a discarded copy of the Sun that was left on the seat next to me on the tube. Whilst flicking through with cold hands i came to the bizarre section and noticed a familiar face looking at me, Stefan Abingdon! Have worked with this talented young musician a couple of times; he played one of our sister companies, Broccoli Music, live events at The Old Queens Head with his band Perfect People and most recently he played an acoustic set at The Nokia Finnish Christmas playing some rather festive songs for the product launch of one of their phones which we at Broccoli Events booked all the bands for.

So what a lovely surprise to see a promising musician gaining the acoloades he so rightly deserves…so what did i read?? With his band The Midnight Beast (one of many Stefan features in) they have become Youtube starlets with their cheeky spoof version of Ke$ha’s ‘Tik Tok’. I couldn’t wait to get to work and take a look for myself…worth the wait? It gave me my first laugh of the day so i had to share this with you

Broccoli is blogging!!

Well hello,

You always think you’re up with the times but then you realise you’re missing out on something that everyone is doing…hence now Broccoli are onto the blogging bandwagon, exciting times ahead!  you’ll be the judge of that i’m sure.

For those of you who know us skip this bit, those that don’t…we are Broccoli Music, soon to be Broccoli Events. At Broccoli Music we work with bands on the new music scene in London and around the UK, putting on live music gigs, one off events, charity events, record launches at venues all over the capital.
We’ve worked on some crazy projects over the years like a pop up human juke box for a Nokia phone launch, (check out The Dash videos on our Youtube channel) very bizarre, put bands on in a ‘Gigloo’ which much to our disappointment wasn’t made out of ice (Check the Joana and the Wolf interview on out Youtube channel) very funny….we like and embrace the weird and the wonderful.

Now with Broccoli Events we will be putting all our promoting know how and experience from putting on parties and creating some special events for a wide range of clients. So if your after a product launch, private party, wrap party, launch event, product launch, VIP party and beyond then give us a shout. Over the years with Broccoli Music we have bulit up a great network of affiliates, young people like us who are making their mark in the music industry. So we can call on photographers, film makers, video production teams, celebrity bookers, floor management teams from big TV music shows all bespoke to each and eery event concept that is put our way. We have the production team at hand to put together the best events!!

So, how will we use this blog? How should we use this blog? Our reason for starting Broccoli was to put on parties we would like to be at…we’d love to hear what you want from a party…so we’ll use it to improve what we do, tailour to your needs, but also to talk about great bands we’re discovering, parties you might like to attened and anything else that amuses us on our travels around the music industry.
