Jet Buster Shuffle sings theme tune for the Danny Wallace XFM show
So Danny Wallace joins the Xfm Breakfast Show and Banks and Wag were brought in to write a jingle!
Great to see Jet from Buster Shuffle was asked to sing on the theme tune.
Buster Shuffle have played many of the corporate events we have worked on at Broccoli Events. The band played music on an open top bus going round London promoting Marston’s new ale, EPA, performed in a Human Jukebox on Oxford Street for the Nokia Comes With Music Campaign…this is just a few. Great band!

Bands for Brands, corporate events and entertainment

It seems the current explosion of emerging bands and the admiration they have encapsulated with their generation has become an irresistible marketing tool.

Marston’s EPA launch – Man Like Me – ‘My Old Man’s A Dustman’
Was just having a clean up on the phone and came across this classic Man Like Me footage from the Marston’s brewery EPA Launch on St George’s Day!
Broccoli Events were employed to book the bands, liaise between the PR team and the bands, event management, film and photograph the event.

The Sun are backing Buster Shuffle’s ‘Save The 100 Club’ song
It seems The Sun has got wind of Buster Shuffle’s ‘Save The 100 Club’ song and are now backing it!
It’s amazing to see one of our favourite bands in the press and mentioned in the same breath as David Bowie, Oasis and Paul Weller.
We’ve worked on lots of live events and corporate events with Buster Shuffle, Nokia Comes With Music Human Jukebox, Bollocks To Poverty Live with Action Aid and the launch of Marston’s EPA on St George’s Day.

Buster Shuffle new record deal!!
We are over the moon for good chums Buster Shuffle who have just a record deal with top label –PEOPLE LIKE YOU who are subsidiary of EMI!
</aWe have been big supporters of Buster Shuffle from day one and had them play for us at loads of our live music events including the Nokia Jukebox and recently on top of the EPA open top bus, a bespoke event we organised for Marstons.
Well done fellas, we are very proud!!!
“This band is very unique on the People Like You roster, but we think it fits perfectly, with their mixture of pop, basic rock’n’roll and that what can be summed up as cockney-ska. This band played nearly every venue around London. They also played the Waterpop Festival in the Netherlands and the Endless Summer Festival in Germany. This October they’re teaming up with their new label mates the Düsseldorf based punkrock band BROILERS to fuel the crowd”

Man Like Me – ‘Donut’ – video of the day
Needed some fun this morning so took a tangent through the Man Like Me videos on Youtube…
This was the decided favourite of the day…
So glad we got to work with this band on the Marston’s EPA launch, hopefully more Man Like Me fun this summer with Broccoli Events.

Lots of fun events ahead with EPA this summer!
The video made by us at Broccoli Events is now on the Marston’s EPA website. If you haven’t seen it yet it’s Man Like Me singing ‘London Town’ at borough market with snippets of the fun that was had on the day touring round London on an open top bus, visiting establishments that serve EPA, handing our free ale with music provided by Buster Shuffle and Bibelots DJs.
The finale was Man Like Me playing an incredible set for the crowds at Borough Market.

Man Like Me – ‘London Town’ on the EPA bus tour
Broccoli Events first job!
Friday 23rd April 2010 saw the launch of EPA on St George’s day. A new pale ale from the Marston’s brewery set to tempt the larger drinkers of the UK back to fine British ales.
Unique selling point?
Apart from being a rather tastey drink it’s the first ale to use a widget meaning it can be transported and served anywhere anyhow so expect to see EPA at festivals and many music events in the coming summer.
So the EPA bus took a tour around London stopping at lots of great pubs that served EPA.
Big thanks to Buster Shuffle for their live sets throughout the day and Bibelots DJ’s for pumping out the music all day long!
Man Like Me finished off the tour of London boozers with a killer set at Borough Market. Check the video….
