The Sun are backing Buster Shuffle’s ‘Save The 100 Club’ song

It seems The Sun has got wind of Buster Shuffle’s ‘Save The 100 Club’ song and are now backing it!

It’s amazing to see one of our favourite bands in the press and mentioned in the same breath as David Bowie, Oasis and Paul Weller.

We’ve worked on lots of live events and corporate events with Buster Shuffle, Nokia Comes With Music Human Jukebox, Bollocks To Poverty Live with Action Aid and the launch of Marston’s EPA on St George’s Day.

Here’s some footage from the Nokia campaign…

ROLLING STONES’ RONNIE WOOD SET FOR ‘SAVE THE 100 CLUB’ GIG?

The 100 Club is famous for live music events, and we have be lucky enough to see loads of great bands perform there aswell as VIP parties, we cant loose anymore of our music history and it looks like all the greats argree and are behind the 100 club, just seen this over on the uncut wesbite..

Ronnie Wood could be set to join forces with his predecessor in The Rolling Stones for a one-off gig to help London’s 100 Club which is threatened with closure.

Wood and Mick Taylor, who was in the band from 1969 to 1974, are rumoured to be teaming up with guitarist Stephen Dale Petit for a performance at the venue on Oxford Street on December 1.

“The first gig I went to in the UK was Alexis Korner at The 100 Club,” said Petit. “There is no other venue like it on earth – when you walk downstairs it’s like entering a magic portal. I always feel honoured to perform there, and this show is going to be extra special.”

Organisers of the gig are expected to confirm the line up in the coming days. For more information go to Stephendalepetit.com.

Meanwhile London ska band Buster Shuffle, who are set to stage a gig at the venue on November 3, have recorded a song and video to raise funds for the venue.

“The video and track is intended to be a viral that will spread the message, we cannot let The 100 Club go without a fight,” said frontman Jet Baker. For more information go to Bustershuffle.co.uk.

Meanwhile the campaign to save the venue, which could close due to spiralling debts this Christmas, has gained over 15,000 members since long-time fans of the central London venue Tony Morrison and Jim Piddington set up Savethe100club.co.uk last month, and a Facebook page membership was also launched.

The 100 Club been open since 1942, and has played host to acts including the Sex Pistols, The White Stripes and Oasis.

‎’Save The 100 Club’ – Buster Shuffle

There are a lot of developments going on around Oxford Street and Tottenham Court road of late. The historic Astoria and LA2 have made way for the TFL developments of the Tottenham Court Road tube station and the new Crossrail station. Now it looks like The 100 Club is the next victim.

One of our favourite bands Buster Shuffle have written a song of the clubs plight!
