“Very exciting times over here! Forever On Records is one of the most exciting things we’ve done as a band”.
Gab

Just landed on my desk is the album I’ve been waiting for The Draytones incredible new ‘Today’s Memories’.
We’ve been been huge supporters of The Draytones at Broccoli for as long as we can remember, we have all their music on limited edition vinyl (good to pass on to the grandkids one day) and when the band told us they were putting their new album in the post we had to make sure they sent us more than one copy to stop any potential mass office brawls for the album.

So on goes the album and silence hits the Broccoli office (which hasn’t happened for as long as I can remember) as we’re all enchanted by six truly stunning tracks.

Stand out track on the album is ‘This Will Always Hurt’. Two minutes twelve seconds of pure pleasure with proper rock n roll riff’s you just can’t help but move to. This track has all the beautiful elements you expect from The Draytones making yet another classic for the band.

This is a must buy album.
The Draytones have pushed the boundaries exploring new heights musically and lyrically producing what can only be described as a piece of art. The Draytones are clearly one of this generations greatest bands and long may they continue to entertain our ears.

ALbum fact:
‘Lemon Trees’ features Chris’s unborn child’s heartbeat at the end of the track…how cute it that?!

We last had The Draytones play for us at The December Sessions event at The 02 last year. As usual the band stole the show with their flawless performance and stage presence.
We grabbed them for a quick chat on the British Music Experience bus, check it out…

We put The Draytones forward to perform at this years Strawberry Fields Festival where the band will be performing on the main stage on the same day as The Charlatans!
Tickets are now on sale so click here and come see The Draytones live this summer!

So you’re going to have to go buy ‘Today’s Memories’ to listen to more music from the album, but we’re going to leave you with another classic from The Draytones, one of our all time favourites in the Broccoli office… ‘Keep Loving Me’

The Draytones – December Sessions @ The O2

One of our all time favourite bands hit the stage at the December Sessions at The O2 on Sunday 18th December, The Draytones!
We caught up with them before their set for an interview, check out the video below featuring their track ‘They Will Always Hurt’.

The December Sessions at The O2 kicked off on December 3rd and finished on December 22nd 2011. Five of the UK’s best emerging bands a night took to a specially constructed stage in London Piazza at The O2.

With a huge potential audience of thousands, December Sessions at The O2 gave these new acts a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play to a huge audience, at London’s most famous entertainment venue.

Four of the twenty nights were managed by Broccoli Events, programming the entertainment, stage managing the event and documenting the event by filming and photographing the live performances and interviewing the bands.

INVEST IN THE DRAYTONES AND MAKE A LOAD OF MONEY

Broccoli’s all time favourite THE DRAYTONES are part of the My Major Company UK Label which gives the general public a chance to be share holders of the bands album.

They have currently hit over £11,000 and they need to get to £100,000

You can own 1 to 100 shares of your favourite artist’s next album campaign. Each share is worth £10. Your money will only be committed when the investment target is reached. It is then transferred from the third party escrow account to the My Major Company UK label and used strategically to fund the artist’s album campaign.

Get over to THE DRAYTONES site and be part of something big!!

Broccoli Music’s Pull Up The Roots reviews…

Pull Up The Roots – Wednesday 18th August

‎’The Monarch although only small was without a doubt the place to be!’
www.allgigs.co.uk

“Just wanted to say a huge thanks for having us down last night. I’d said it to Katie before but you guys have absolutely been the best promoters that we’ve ever worked with so thanks again for organising such a great night with an awesome line up.”
Silicon Kid

Missdavinalee review by Gigjunkie
“In the almost regal looking The Monarch of Camden, with its portraits of “nobility” and its assortment of chandeliers and other stately decorations, Missdavinalee prepared to play their set. Prior to coming to the gig, I had had a listen to some of their songs on their Myspace to get a feel for what they sounded like, but I needn’t have bothered. Their Myspace recordings do not do them justice at all; they sound about a bazillion times better live, trust me.”
